Clinical Staff

Dr. David Spiro, Vice President, Medical Director

David has over 25 years' experience as both a clinician and Medical Director, and is well-versed using system-oriented processes to achieve optimal performance and evidence-based outcomes. Over the past 20 years, David has served in a variety of physician leadership roles, including Chief of Staff at a rural hospital in Oregon, Professor of Emergency Medicine at Yale University, and Chief of the Pediatric ER at Doernbecher Children's Hospital, where he raised funding, built and ran the new department. He is also the co-founder of ReelDX, a producer of physician training videos. At AllMed, David oversees all physician peer review activities and clinical quality management, working with other members of the team to drive continuous improvement efforts. He received his MD from the University of California, San Francisco, and holds a BA from the University of Virginia.


Dr. Kenneth Janoff, Acting Medical DirectorDr. Kenneth Janoff, Acting Medical Director

Dr. Janoff has been practicing vascular surgery in the Portland area for over twenty five years. He is board certified in peripheral vascular surgery after training at the Oregon Health Sciences University in both general surgery and vascular surgery. He is a member of numerous vascular surgery and surgical societies both regionally and nationally. He has been recognized as a Portland top doctor as well as national top doctor. He’s married with three boys. He’s an avid golfer and fly fisherman. He has an interest in photography and reading.

 

Dr. Eric Diamond, Senior Staff Physician

Dr. Eric Diamond has been in private practice for over 30 years specializing in foot and ankle pathology. He is fellowship trained in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center and continues to maintain a private practice as well as an onsite practice based Ambulatory Surgical Center. Dr Diamond was the owner/Medical Director of a freestanding independent Clinical trials site, Crossroads Research, dealing primarily in topics related to post-op analgesics. In this role he served as Principal Investigator for over 50 clinical trials. He joined the AllMed clinical team in 2013 as a peer reviewer. More recently Dr Diamond joined the internal AllMed Medical Staff and assumed the role as one of clinical team in-house medical review physicians.

 

Jessica McBurney, Peer Development Manager

Jessica joined AllMed in 2014 as a Medical Review Clinician and was promoted to Clinical Team Leader in 2015, then Clinical Team Manager in 2016, and has now taken on a new role as Peer Development Manager in 2017. Prior to beginning at AllMed, she was the RN Clinical Coordinator for a busy Internal Medicine clinic, and was instrumental in development and implementation of the care management program at Mid Columbia Medical Center. As a nurse with a wide variety of experience in outpatient medicine, Jessica combines her clinical acumen, with her passion for writing and complex problem solving. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree from The University of Nevada, Reno where she also competed on the Women’s Track and Field team, and received her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Columbia Gorge Community College. 


Jen Gretzinger, MedReview Director of Clinical Operations

Jen has been working in the healthcare field for 10 years. Her vast experience includes end-of-life care, case management, and acute care nursing where she worked as a registered nurse in a neurological intensive care unit (NICU). Prior to joining AllMed in 2017, Jen worked as the Director of Nursing Services for Skilled Nursing Care centers in Portland and in Michigan, where she is originally from. As MedReview Director of Clinical Operations, she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinical operations for MedReview, AllMed's in-depth medical review product for health plans and medical management organizations. She holds a Master's degree in Science in Nursing and Management.
